It took me only a few sessions with a camera to pursue it as a profession. Like every engineering graduate, I chanced upon my career choice during my days at college. My friends were dabbling with cameras and I was intrigued by it. I kept learning by myself through trial and error until the day I decided to do a certified course in photography

I had a natural flair for macro photography and that helped me shape up the person that I am today. What started as a passion has now become my profession. Nikon D3100 was my first DSLR camera and it has seen all the highs and lows. It has also seen umpteen emotions ranging from happiness to sadness. I had only been clicking display pictures for my friends and I still do (cos, your friends do not leave you) for several years. Never in my wildest dream had I thought that it would help me in framing a picture in a better way. My camera has been instrumental in shaping me as a person as well. As they say, your first camera is your best teacher. Slowly, I started developing my first portfolio by visiting picturesque locations in India and abroad.

Another milestone in my life is when I got the job of a photojournalist at an online media portal. It opened up new avenues for me and soon I honed my skills as a fashion and celebrity photographer. I was able to gain exposure and had the platform to experiment as well. This experience helped me in becoming a wedding photographer. Candid photographs are what I specializes in. The joy in capturing the real emotion is therapeutic to any photographer.

Having photographed over 100 weddings, my aim is to bring a cinematic feel to the photographs that I click. After all, our life is a fairy tale!
